I haven't seen a breakdown for a while. Good insight though

Re: Telstra's DigitalMum | Mum 2.0

Advertising outside the platform to try and lure people in, has not worked well in the experience that I have had. You get a better result from advertising within the platform.

Do you have any results from the Lynx campaign that Soap ran because I know that you guys had a mix of both?

Re: Telstra's DigitalMum | Mum 2.0

Hey Sam

i noticed a SMH homepage takeover promoting Digitalmum. How did this perform and I've tracked the Facebook fan and video view stats and there wasn't a noticeable increase?

Re: Telstra's DigitalMum | Mum 2.0

I should clarify that I wasn't expecting a heap of subscriptions to the YT channel. I just expected more than just me. Is the full time community manager just working on Skinny Cow? or across other brands as there is hardly 40hrs a week on this community right now?

Sam I'd love to hear form you in 6 months to have a post review of the first 6 months of the campaign/community. I'll hit you up via email.

Re: Telstra's DigitalMum | Mum 2.0

Hey Ash

Re: Skinny Cow

It's my campaign and I don't sub because YT is not the channel, merely the platform for hosting vids that appear on the FB community (for several reasons, namely better analytics than FB video).

Appreciate the coverage/thoughts - its an evolving community, and one we are able to react to quickly since Skinny Cow has a full time community manager. We're all working hard on getting this inherently social campaign right - and listening to feedback/likes/dislikes from our members is shaping future content and direction of the club.

Cheers,

SG

Re: Telstra's DigitalMum | Mum 2.0

Shame with Disqus Ive had nothing but good times with it. Rosso was a good choice for me. Not sure how mums take to him but I like him.

Agree on the Youtube subscription. I just thought it was weird I was still there only one. No one in the agency even have an account?!

Re: Telstra's DigitalMum | Mum 2.0

Disqus is balls. I wrote this big comment and then clicked Twitter and it wiped my comment! Grrrrr.

Anyway dot points

-like the script and production value
- like that they got a well known actor to do the series
- think they played all their cards at once with putting all videos up

-BFF Youtube channel should not be judged as I think it maybe acting just as support and not a metric of success for this campaign. It is really hard to get subs on Youtube anyway.
